TAS - AGENCY The Men's Gallery
Dont forget to tell The Men's Gallery you found them on
Relocated early 2009 to the Cornish Mount on the corner of Collins and Barrack in the Hobart CBD, after having been in the nearby Duke of Argyle. The current premises are smaller, but this is not necessarily a disadvantage – adds to the clubby atmosphere.
Door charge and drinks prices are reasonable. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest – there are afternoon hours which I haven’t dropped in for.
After having frequented the Cornish Mount for years, and seen it struggle to get much activity, it’s quite a change to see it thrive in its current incarnation.
The place is well run and orderly, the dancers are a mix of Tassie women who appear regularly, and women from the mainland who come and go as they work around Australia. The Tassie women, by the way, have a lot going for them :-).
I quite like the joint, and am happy to recommend it. They don’t have a website as yet, but watch this space.
